POOL Fund focused on quick response activities intending to meet basic need of affected household in emergency condition. The main focus area of POOL FUND is promoting livelihood strategies and reconstruction of devastated irrigation schemes. Encouraged the local people for their livelihood options this project focused on the cultivation of agricultural production and promoted those production through market. This project has been implemented at Keurani, Bashkarka, Bhotang and Lagarche areas of Bhotang, Sindhupalchok. The project aims at making local government more responsible, accountable and transparent through different campaigns. Community mobilization by local institution and market linkage is important aspect of sustainability. Considering this fact, from the initiatives, CSRC promoted cooperatives as strong and sustained service provider in the communities assuming an appropriate institution to reinforce for input supply and product marketing through this project.
